Managed Website & Platform Services Model
Our model is designed to ensure long-term stability, sustainability, and shared responsibility between the service provider and the client.
Development (Once-Off Fee)
Clients pay a once-off development fee for the design, configuration, and deployment of a website or web application. This fee covers planning, development, testing, and initial launch. The deliverable is a live, functional platform, not a transfer of ownership of underlying systems.
Hosting & Infrastructure (Recurring)
Once the platform is live, it operates on Stan4ord IT infrastructure. Monthly hosting covers server resources, uptime, security updates, backups, and domain/email management where applicable. This is a standard operational cost required to keep the platform accessible and secure.
Ongoing Care & Support (Managed Service)
Beyond hosting, clients receive ongoing operational support. This includes assistance with content updates, email configuration, troubleshooting, minor enhancements, and general guidance. This service ensures continuity and reduces technical burden on the client.
Platform Licensing & Portability
Platforms are licensed for use while hosted and managed by Stan4ord IT. Source code and core system architecture are not transferred by default. If a client chooses to discontinue services, options may include data export, platform archival, or negotiated source-code buyout, subject to separate agreement.
Long-Term Sustainability
This model allows platforms to grow and evolve over time while maintaining technical integrity. Clients benefit from stability and expertise, while Stan4ord IT retains responsibility for infrastructure and system health.
